photo of the results of a geomagnetic storm. The current set of events happening overhead is a result of a A coronal mass ejection (CME). As with most of the environments we have interest in, one can track this through the activities of NOAA on their Space Environment Center site.
Like many other services they provide, the NOAA brand is low key and not on the title.
